The package contains three packs of Baby Ketee Uwii for the herbal bath, a jar of sugar cane molasses (125 ml), a few anduu roots and a jar of Kokonto Fatu, handmade coconut oil (125 ml). After the bath the baby's body is traditionally rubbed with a mix of the root and coconut oil, using calm, gentle movements. Molasses has its own place in Maroon traditions around birth. If you have questions about the combinations, feel free to contact us.
Use and preparation
Place a few anduu roots on the bottom of a large kettle and add a pack of Baby Ketee Uwii. Add enough water and bring to the boil.
