This oil brings together two familiar Maroon oils: Amana Fatu from the pulp of the amana (tucumã) fruit and Maipa Sii Fatu from the kernel of maripa nuts. Both oils are handmade in the interior of Suriname. Maroon women have used them for generations in their daily skin and hair care. The blend is more fluid than pure maripa oil and spreads easily over damp hair or damp skin.
Use and preparation
Hair: apply to the scalp every other day. Dampen the hair with water first, then apply the oil. Skin: apply to damp skin.
