This package brings together herbal tea and podosiri from the Surinamese rainforest, made according to traditional recipes. You get Kwasi Bita, the well-known Maroon bitterwood. Siwiru and Pijana Oroi, two teas made from leaves that Indigenous residents of Kwamalasamutu pick in the wild and process by hand. And podosiri, the fresh pulp of the açaí palm. Traditionally two cups of Siwiru are taken during the day and one cup of Pijana Oroi in the evening, with a spoonful of honey.
Use and preparation
Steep Siwiru and Pijana Oroi well in boiled water; traditionally 2 cups of Siwiru during the day and 1 cup of Pijana Oroi in the evening, with honey. Kwasi Bita: steep a piece of wood in warm water for 5 to 10 minutes. Do not use Kwasi Bita during pregnancy or for long periods.
